The Ontario Government recently announced the investment of $5 million in the Communities In Action Fund (CIAF). CIAF is part of Active2010, Ontario's initiative to increase physical activity and participation in sport in Ontario. Grants are available to not-for-profit organizations to help develop and/or implement programs that will "...keep Ontarians fit and active." Funding could be anywhere from 60% - 80% of total eligible project costs.
Projects that will be funded will usually fall into one of the following categories: Planning, Implementation, Development, or a Combination of the categories.
