and is held at the Collins Bay Marina. It is a public information day with free boat rides for the public (courtesy of the Boat Warehouse, CORK, and Wards Marine), displays by Coast Guard, HMCS Cataraqui, the local fire department, public health(sun safety and mocktails), the local windsurfing school, and of course the Collins Bay Yacht Club sailing school. They have free kayak test paddling; kayak races, and a lifejacket fashion show. The event grows each year and is fun for the whole family.
Some display groups have handouts and educational "games" for kids to play to reinforce the message.
