WINDSURFING
Sail Canada sets the national standard for windsurfing programs. The CANSail Windsurf program consists of six core standards, which seek to foster lifelong enthusiasm for the sport.
Whether recreational or competitive, windsurfing is exciting, athletic, and challenging. New windsurfers should be comfortable with swimming! Ontario windsurfers don wetsuits to sail well into the fall, when wavey conditions are often at their peak. Some Ontario Sailing member organizations offer CANSail Windsurfing programs.
