To achieve International Cruising Certificate Instructor Certification you must:
– Achieve the International Cruising Standard student level certification (this exam will be completed as part of the clinic certification in 2026).
– Be a current, registered Sail Canada Intermediate Cruising or Intermediate Power Instructor.
– Experience as a skipper of at least 10 days and 200 nautical miles during the previous 3 calendar years.
– A score of 90% or higher on the International Cruising Certification exam.
