The World Sailing Approved Offshore Personal Survival Course includes both classroom and practical components to prepare participants to effectively handle emergencies. Learn about the equipment you have on your boat and how to use flares, cut your rig, swim in your PFD, fight fires and get in a raft. A portion of the course takes place in a pool where participants swim in sailing gear and lifejacket/PFD and board a raft.
