The Seahorse Youth Regatta on July 29th/30th at Ashbridge’s Bay Yacht Club drew the Grand Prix Development Series to a close for competitors in the C420 classes.
Grand Prix competitors in the C420 class competed at the Four Sisters Open the week prior and again at the Seahorse Youth Regatta, with results combined to provide a combined score for Grand Prix scoring purposes.

Congratulations to Skipper Augustin Sasarman and Crew Paris Sasarman from the Royal Canadian Yacht Club for being named C420 class champions of the 2023 Ontario Sailing Grand Prix Development Series, with a combined score of 95 points – only 1 point ahead of their competitors Jude Martel and Deborah Jarvis from Ashbridges Bay Yacht Club. Third place was only two points behind them, from Oakville Yacht Squadron (Nicolas Prete and Cole Redwood).
