$25,000 Scholarship for Young Sailors

Attention Sailing Communities,

Did you know that young members of your community are eligible to receive up to $25,000 in scholarship funding towards tuition for their 2017-2018 school year with Class Afloat?

The Young Sailor Scholarship was created to assist a student – endorsed by their sailing school, sail-training program or yacht club – to participate in the extraordinary educational experience of attending high school while sailing a majestic 230’ tall ship to 20+ ports on four continents.

Scholarships will be awarded to young sailors who best demonstrate the values of excellence, integrity, community, teamwork, accountability, respect, commitment and achievement in both their academic and sailing life.
