Add a new qualification and fresh ways to integrate environmental education into your teaching.
Aimed at both school teachers and informal educators like sports instructors and community leaders, WILD Education is a professional development program that trains educators to become certified instructors of Project Wild and Education resources for sports.
The Canadian Wildlife Federation and Nautical Youth Toronto propose a Project WILD and Environmental resources introductory workshop, for teachers, water sport instructors and youth leaders.

Cost: The Canadian Wildlife Federation offers this workshop at a cost of $45.
WILD Education workshops include:
- Six hours of practical “hands on” activities, for the most part run outdoors.
- A complimentary instruction manual for educators.
- Access to diverse supplementary CWF education resources.
- A certification.
WILD Education is a range of education programs focused on conservation of wildlife and the environment and is designed to be adapted for a wide range of ages and subjects.
The Environmental resource manual for water sports, forms part of a list of tools available to instructors and youth leaders.
You’ll also get to network with other instructors and clubs who are already using these tools, and discover a wealth of additional resources, ideas and activities to help young people understand the links between wildlife and nature on the water.
