June 24th @ 6:00pm
As Pride Month officially launched on June 1st, we have achieved important milestones across Canada, the ultimate seeing PM Justin Trudeau raising the Pride Flag over Parliament Hill.
The Toronto Gay Sailing Club (TGSC) is spearheading the #PrideFlagChallenge, a campaign to have simultaneous Pride Flag Raising Ceremonies across the various yacht clubs in Ontario, on June 24th at 6:00pm.
With the generous support of Skippers’ Plan, all clubs registering to be part of the challenge will receive a free Pride Flag to be flown proudly from the Pride Raising Ceremonies to July 3rd at 6:00pm.
TGSC will also send a volunteer to each club in the GTA that is participating in the #PrideFlagChallenge for their flag raising ceremony.
Frenchman’s Bay Yacht Club (FBYC) is the first Sail Canada / Ontario Sailing member club to have registered for #TGSC #PrideFlagChallenge and will be featured live on CTV between 12:00 noon and 1:00pm on June 24th, marking the official launch of #TGSC #PrideFlagChallenge.

In light of the recent events in Orlando, TGSC is asking for your club’s support for this important initiative.
