Toronto Multihull Cruising Club Regatta Needs Race Committee

Toronto Multihull Cruising Club Regatta
NEEDS A RACE COMMITTEE!
JULY 6 – 7, 2013
The annual Toronto Multihull Cruising Club Regatta is this Saturday and Sunday, July 6th and 7th and we’re struggling to build a race committee.
We would be pleased to provide 3 meals each day for everyone who volunteers to help out, including an extra dinner ticket each night for a guest.  Saturday night join us for a dance complete with band and if you can make it, our wine and cheese reception on Friday at 6pm.
We have the RC boat, flags and Rob, our Race Chair, will set the course and instructions etc.
Our regatta is a VERY casual, low key event with 3 classes, (open, beach cat and white sail)  with usually about 7-10 boats per fleet.
We have a guy who runs the ratings side for us and will set the course etc.  Therefore, it’s really just running the 3 class starts (maximum 3 races per day/class), watching for ‘over earlies,” and recording times.  We don’t do protests, etc.
It’s a fun weekend and we’d LOVE to hear from you (and you, and you)!
Please contact our Race Chair Rob Cajolet ASAP if you can give us a hand at rob.cajolet@gmail.com .
