Ontario Sailing Annual Meeting – September 26^th, 2023

Under Ontario’s Not-for-Profit Corporations Act, Ontario Sailing Association is required to host an Annual Meeting to present certain corporate information to the members of the Corporation. The next Annual Meeting for the Corporation will be held virtually at 7:00 PM via Zoom on Tuesday, September 26^th, 2023, reviewing the fiscal year that ended March 31^st, 2023.

Based on the Ontario Sailing Association’s by-laws, each organization that has been accepted into membership and met the conditions of membership and is deemed to be “in good standing” at the record date (August 26^th, 2023), will be entitled to receive formal notice of the Annual Meeting, 21 days before the scheduled meeting.

To guarantee your organization is in good standing, please ensure you have completed the annual membership information form and that your financial account is up to date.

Reminders have been sent to organizations with outstanding items and members in good standing have been sent certificates. If you are unsure of your organization’s status, please reach out to kathleen@ontariosailing.ca to confirm. Watch for the official Notice of Meeting to come to the legal head of the organization in early September.

Ontario Sailing Member Organization Information Session – September 19^th, 2023

Ontario Sailing is hosting a virtual information session on September 19^th, 2023. This session is open for leaders of our member organizations to attend.
Topics will include information related to the annual meeting as well as information and updates on items of interest to leaders of organizations in sailing.
