Ontario Sailing’s Executive Director, Glenn Lethbridge, has been named the 17th Skipper with Sailors for the Sea.
Sailors for the Sea Powered by Oceana is the world’s leading ocean conservation organization that engages, educates and activates the sailing and boating community toward restoring ocean health.
With this announcement, Glenn will be in a position to help organizations map out their own commitments to the environment. Ontario Sailing becomes the first province in Canada to offer Sailors for the Sea programming to its member organizations, including:
- Sailors for the Sea Clean Regattas Program
- Sailors for the Sea Kids Environmental Lesson Plans (KELP) program
As well as other environmental sustainability programs and resources that will complement our existing partnership with Boating Ontario and the Clean Marine Program.
