Queen’s Quay Disabled Sailing Program, offers learn to sail courses, racing, recreational sailing, cruising, access to sailing volunteers, equipment and social and special events of all kinds! The Blind Sailing Association of Canada was formed to provide opportunities for the blind to improve their quality of life by building self esteem and confidence through recreational sailing.

The volunteer committee of Able Sail Kingston and the Kingston Yacht Club Board is pleased to offer accesible sailing programs at KYC. Experience freedom in the club’s sailboats, designed for independent sailing by persons with even a severe physical disability.
AbleSail participants will experience the joys of sailing with our instructor. For some, it is a one day adventure into a new world. For others, it can be a new pastime, as they develop their skills further on each outing.
