Ontario Sailing Combine
The Combine Returns for 2026!
A highly anticipated, 2-day high-performance training clinic led by Ontario Sailing Team Coaches Chris Hewson & Violet Stafford.
What To Expect:
- 2-days of on-water testing racing, and drills, focused on tactics, strategy, and boat handling, and on-land sessions focused on athlete development and performance.
- Professional coaching led by guest coaches Lee Parkhill (OLY) and Dani Boyd (OLY), and OST coaches Chris Hewson & Violet Stafford. Additional coaching support will be provided by targeted club coaches.
- A session on nutrition & hydration from Dr. Langford from Canadian Sport Institute of Ontario (CSIO)
- A session on Individual Athlete Performance Planning, led by Violet Stafford.
- A discussion on OST application requirements, led by Chris Hewson and Violet Stafford.
- Opportunities for coach mentorship with Lee, Dani, Chris and Violet.
- Coaches are welcome and encouraged to attend as a professional development opportunity.
- A networking opportunity for athletes and coaches.
- An opportunity to learn more about the value of being an Ontario Sailing Team Athlete.
- Bonus! The first 50 athletes to register will receive a unique camp pinnie.
Combine Details:
- When: August 8-9, 2026
- Where: Portsmouth Olympic Harbour, Kingston ON
- Who: Open to sailors in the ILCA 4, ILCA 6, ILCA 7 and C420 classes. Coaches are also encouraged to attend!
- Cost: $146.90
